August 20th is not just a birthday. It is the day we commemorate the birth of one of the most wholesome, annoying, and universally beloved people we all know.
He is loved. He is celebrated-ish.
On this trip, we mark the end of his twenties and the beginning of his third decade with the dignity and grace it deserves... or lack thereof. We wave goodbye to his twenties the only way we know how.
Welcome to Adi's Dirty Thirty: The Blizzard Games.
Over two days, three teams will compete across ten challenges designed to test you physically, mentally, and morally. What happens in Queenstown stays in Queenstown... except your score. That follows you forever.
Points are tracked. Scores are final. Losers will be named, shamed, and remembered forever.
Your team has been assigned. Choose your battles accordingly.
The Blizzard Games Committee will be covering accommodation for the duration of the event, as well as some refreshments throughout. You just need to show up.
Some challenges are paid activities. Nothing will break anyone's bank — but come prepared to spend a little in the name of glory.
The Committee acknowledges that all competitors are flying in specifically for this event. That dedication has been noted, appreciated, and will not earn you any special treatment on the leaderboard.
The winning team will be honoured. The prize is not up for discussion — but it will be worth competing for.
Participation medals will not be awarded. Losers will, however, go home with plenty of memories, a few good photos, and at least one bruise to show for it.
Airbnb available from 3:00 PM. Welcome Ceremony at 5:00 PM — please confirm if this works for you.
Outdoor games begin. Dress accordingly. Closing Ceremony to follow.
Depart as champions or in shame.
